Comedy and television icon Bill Cosby slammed Republicans who failed to stand for President Obama’s State of the Union speech, likening them to racists who opposed desegregation.
“I think we have people sitting there,” he said, referring to the president’s SOTU speech, during a CNN television interview reported by Mediaite, “who are as bad as the people who were against any kind of desegregation.”
His comments came in context of a discussion about racism and the 1965 Bloody Sunday march across Selma, Ala., Mediate reported. Rep. Connie Mack said “it’s just hard to believe,” and “it’s unbelievable,” in reference to the level of racism that marked that decade, Mediate reported.
“I don’t think so,” Mr. Cosby said, Mediate reported. “Not when you look at the president’s speech recently.”

I grew up worshipping Cosby, and I won’t stop listening to his early classic routines. But it is obviously clear that the man and his public persona are two completely different things.
That single little rant was a departure from the Leftist party line, which is not tolerated and must be punished. Cosby is no conservative, but he wandered off the plantation just a little bit, which is not tolerated. The Left is becoming more Stalinist, where the response to any noncompliance, any disagreement, no matter how minor, is “I must hate you, I must destroy you, I must kill you.” So the Left eats their own.
Yeah, it still doesn’t make him guilty of rape.
To help understand what is happening I would advise everyone to read Edward Bernays, a man who single handed totally changed one aspect of American culture in the 1930's; i.e. women smoking in public. His techniques are posted on the internet and are used today by our Western public opinion masters.

Bill Cosby has never been a conservative. He’s been a lefty his entire life. Morons went all giddy when Cosby — in a brief moment of lucidity — said something critical about ghetto life. Aside from that one “liberal lapse,” Cosby has been a fellow traveler of the far left.

There seems to be a log of racists coming out of the left’s closet, because a lot of them don’t like what Obama is doing.

I am against desegregation, so I guess I’m racist. But I have one question. Look around you and ask, did it work? An honest answer would have to be that it failed miserably.
Race is the over arching issue with (most) black Americans. It trumps everything. It permeates everything. It is a permanent obsession.

In a comic essay for Ebony, Cosby even talked about how aging had affected his roving eye for women. “One of the most important things when you turn 40 is that you weigh things thusly,” he wrote. “You look at the enjoyment you may get from a given activity, and then you look at the amount of work that may have to go into it … for example, sex with a young beautiful woman who has plenty of energy.”

I have Cosby’s “Why is There Air?” LP from almost fifty years back. His comedy was totally non-racial & his appeal was universal. Then there was “I Spy” & decades later Dr. & Mrs. Huxtable. Beloved by everybody.
Remember when Cosby earned his Ed.D. in 1987. Took umbrage with those who said it wasn’t a real doctorate.
So, any white who didn’t vote for Obama is racist? A lot of whites not necessarily screaming libs voted for Obama to prove their lack of racial prejudice & did so in good faith.
I had forgotten about the Tawana Brawley connection. Oh, well.
