As an online writer, I come across a fair number of memes. Some of them are cleverly arranged to convey a well thought out message. Theres also ones like this:

The sign on the left conveys an obvious fact: its pretty hard to hold pro-choice beliefs (or hold anything at all) if somebodys already killed you. The logic behind the sign on the right, however, is a little more hazy.
The second message seems to imply that holding pro-life values is somehow incompatible with being pregnantan odd notion. For although their efforts certainly arent easy, pregnant woman who choose to give birth are unambiguously engaged in a pro-life act. Of course, expectant moms do face plenty of frustrating challenges. Dealing with Nancy Pelosi can be one of them.
Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth is a decorated vet who lost both her legs to insurgents in Iraq. The Illinois Democrat is also pregnant and has been advised by her doctor to avoid travel. So, instead of heading to Washington for her partys leadership vote, Duckworth asked if she could vote by proxy instead. House Minority Leader Pelosi was unsympathetic.
The rules of the caucus, Pelosi explained, are the same as the rules of the House no proxy voting and [allowing Duckworth to vote] would require changing rules of the caucus as different from rules of the House.
Very well then, cant the rules be changed? After all, Nancy Pelosi has talked at length about helping women overcome obstacles, so you would think shed be willing to accommodate pregnancy.
Nope. Youre going to establish a situation where were going to determine who has a note from the doctor thats valid or not. Its really a place we shouldnt go.
In fact, Rep. Pelosi doesnt seem that enthused about mothers being involved in politics at all, remarking, I was one of the ones who said to Congresswoman Duckworth, Dont come back here. This is a most glorious experience of your life, the center of the universe will change for you when you have this precious new baby. Given that the senior Democrat opposes limits on late-term abortion, she must see the transition from killable non-person to precious new baby as being fairly abrupt.
In contrast, pro-lifers realize that new moms are sometimes in need of aid and care. You can help provide that by volunteering or making a donation at your local pregnancy care centera place where women can get valuable support. You can also offer encouragement through something as simple as a kind word, a cheerful gift, or a seat on the bus. Because while Nancy Pelosi might lack understanding, that shouldnt stop the rest of us from being ready to show it.
nazi pelosi - on the front lines choppin down other gals in the democrat’s war on women...
Voting with party
The website OpenCongress tracks how often members of Congress vote with the majority of the chamber caucus.
2014
Duckworth voted with the Democratic Party 89.7 percent of the time, which ranked 162nd among the 204 House Democratic members as of July 2014.[67]
2013
Duckworth voted with the Democratic Party 92.8 percent of the time, which ranked 149th among the 201 House Democratic members as of June 2013.[68]
She represents her district well.
Duckworth would never have obtained her seat without the blessing of the IllinoisCombine-ChicagoMachine.
She basically agreed to be their token veteran.
If Boehner had a brain (too much to ask I know), there would be messages to Duckworth that maybe she should change parties.
What’s Tammy Duckworth doing in that treacherous DemRat party anyway?
What part of Pelosi isn’t fake?
Yeah, orthodoxy can be a bitch. Just ask Landrieu. She contributed money to the campaigns of a lot of her fellow ya ya sisterhood senators. Then, in a display of comity and collegiality, they voted AGAINST her attempt to pass the Keystone Pipeline bill.
Nope. The Party has so far refused to make an exception for this person, which would be discriminating in her favor.
Having the same rules for everybody is not discrimination. I'd think conservatives would at least be aware of that.
“If Boehner had a brain (too much to ask I know), there would be messages to Duckworth that maybe she should change parties.”
Yeah, been thinking along the same lines. Never “mis-underestimate” the GOP’s ability to p!$$ away a good opportunity. When it comes to agility - well, guess there’s a reason the GOP mascot is an elephant.....
