Wow. Seems like each winter it gets worse and worse here in the good old valley of death.

I’ve got news for you . . . I guessed.
We just moved from Wisconsin to southern Georgia, so we will be missing out on most of that stuff.

My wife is angry at me. Cleveland supposedly had 6 inches on Friday, but I’ve been traveling so couldn’t take care of the drive. Crying shame - lol

The New York State Thruway is closed from Rochester, all the way through to the Pennsylvania line ,
due to Blowing and drifting snow .
Windchill is in the single digits , making driving hazzardous .
Some lakeside communities have 3 1/2 feet of snow , with more due today.

It’s not winter yet. It’s still fall. Many years we don’t get any real snow until Christmas or later. And the temps here in the Midwest have been more like January than November.

I use to live in Upstate NY. That lake effect snow is a bitch. But it’s not unusual for up there. I remember as a kid not seeing a snow plow for three days.

Um, that was 2 FEET of snow. I was exiled to that part of the world in the 1970s, and things could become interesting quickly if you had any driving to do...

When I was a kid in the 70s we often had snow at this time of year. The deer hunters prayed for it.

Will you people stop whining, its WINTER TIME, with it comes COLD and often SNOW. Think positive, spring will be here in 5 more months. Do something, read a book, what ever to get your mind off of that cold and blustery weather outside. Enjoy you days, it could be worse, odumbo could be in your town.

Yeah, I am in a lake effect band. Lake effect snow has a certain granular quality to it, and it piles up like crazy. Trying to post a picture of my driveway, but my skills in that regard are lacking. Five miles north of here, they just got a dusting, My boss thinks I am making it up.
