Friends, it's Sunday night again and time to relax. Warm up the tubes for another 4 hours of classic radio Americana.
Info *tonight's show will be available at the "Info" link starting tomorrow.
Official OTR Blog of "The Big Broadcast" thread.
As we move into this season we'll see more holiday shows, but for now we've got a regular lineup and a good one tonight...A Date with Judy with Sinatra from ‘45 will be cool...Let George Do It is new (to me)...and a fun 10pm hour with Suspense! and Inner Sanctum...
How's it going out there...
Let George Do It stars Bob Baily. I believe Ed has played it before.
The cold is just starting to move into our area, but it's still fairly warm ahead of the front.
I like the last two shows, and this "Johnny Dollar" series was the last of the multi-part shows that aired. Don't know if Ed will jump to the half-hour ones or keep playing the serial shows of "Johnny Dollar." Ed has played "Let George Do It" before. It stars Bob Bailey, remember?

Hey there.
Ever head of A Date with Judy?
Hey Gina. I really don’t remember. Maybe once it starts playing...
What’s new? Anything cooking?
Hi, Vision! Keith made a pot of his excellent chili, and in a little while I’ll bake some cornbread to go with it. Not much else happening here.
How about you? All’s well? Any Food Wishes?
I’ve never heard of A Date With Judy
Big football Saturday. Roll Tide for us.
Yea, food wishes chicken riggies. It was ok, didn't thrill me. So many good things go in it. Oh, and some roasted butternut squash and onions. Really good.
I think Ed’s not playing Inner Sanctum in favor of the Lone Ranger recreation...
Good call on the JD show change BTW...
I’ve never cooked butternut squash. I see all those weird kinds of squashes in the produce section, but have never tasted them. I’m sure I’d like them, though, since, if it’s food, I like it. :-)
Yes, the chili—I grate some sharp cheddar, and we have sour cream. GOOOOD stuff!
Say it’s not so Kitty...
I’ll bet it was good anyway. I know you’re a very good cook, Vision, even with a little extra tomato.
That last speech of Kitty’s almost made me cry! What a wimp I am!
Simply amazing writing and acting. Thought provoking today...
Thanks for sharing this Ed, but I’d rather have Suspense!
All is well. Be back after The Walking Dead is over at 10.
