Things aren't looking too good for Bill Cosby. The comedian stayed completely silent when he was asked repeatedly about the rape allegations he's being faced with during an interview with NPR on Saturday, Nov. 15.
NPR host Scott Simon asked the Cosby Show star, 77, about the shocking claims that have resurfaced recently while interviewing Cosby and his wife Camille about an exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art.
"This question gives me no pleasure, Mr. Cosby, but there have been serious allegations raised about you in recent days," Simon asked the legendary actor. "You're shaking your head no. I'm in the news business. I have to ask the question. Do you have any response to those charges?"
Cosby continued to his shake his head and stayed quiet about the subject.

What are you basing this on?
Jimmy Savile: BBC scrapped investigation after Newsnight came ‘under pressure’ from senior managers
The BBC scrapped its investigation into whether Jimmy Savile was a paedophile after Newsnight came under pressure from senior managers, a documentary will claim this evening.
I think history will show similar pressure was brought to bear to bury the Cosby story for many many years when grooming/rape allegations surfaced. Bravo for the lady brave enough to stand up and withstand the slings and arrows of the celebrity-worshippers. Now that the media will finally cover them, we will likely hear about many more cases of grooming/rape by Cosby.
Thanks for your agreement.
How many times do we get shocked that one person or another turns out to be a complete abuser?
After that one lawsuit, everyone thought it was just one priest, but go figure, thing is that it turned out to be practically the entire priesthood that were abusing children and the victims numbered in the thousands.
I bet that Cosby is guilty and really, everyone knows that a public figure is often the opposite in private than they are in public?
I’ve read about Savile and he was a HUGE friend of members of the royal family.
For the life of me, I don’t understand why people discard the idea that their favorite entertainer is a psycho in private. People go into that business for a reason, to escape themselves and avoid facing who they are as people.
How many biographies are read about one celebrity icon after another? I mean, celebrities rarely do anti-drug adverts because we know too much about their personal lives
for any kind of message to be effective.
Cosby is likely not just a one time offender as well. There are probably other victims nervous about coming out.
They buried it because of his association with the royal family. If a huge investigation were done, it would drag the royal family to the guillotine.
Well said.
Jesse Jackson has *always* shown himself to be a worthless, phony, piece of excrement....as have Roman Polanski,Al Sharpton,BillyBob Blythe,William Kennedy Smith,Mike Tyson and many others. To me that means that I would not dismiss, out of hand, any allegation of this sort made against them.Bill Cosby has never seemed to me to be anything but decent and respectable. And I'm instinctively skeptical of allegations of serious wrongdoing made against people that I perceive in that way.
Until it's proven otherwise to me Jackson and Cosby don't even belong in the same conversation when it comes to basic character.

No, you need to read what our discussion is about, it isn’t about post 40 it is about post 41.
I hope you don’t also think that rape is practiced rationally.
Rape is about power and control not sex that is just a secondary gain.
Now that the media will finally cover them, we will likely hear about many more cases of grooming/rape by Cosby.
They will be more the heroes for exposing some rich guy that could not resist the attentions of a pretty 17 year old infant.
And it is probably true but not rape.
Jimmy Savile, never heard of him.
Read about Savile. The point is that if a superstar has a great public face, and allows access and great stories to a slavish celebrity-worshipping media, he can get away with murder. Savile groomed and raped dozens to 100s of boys and girls for decades, it was whispered about, but never reported in the UK MSM until his suicide death.
Our side actually does care about our leaders being honest and having character. Character counts. The left only cares about power. If Bill Clinton was a rapist, it is no big deal to them. They got the legislation they wanted. He saved abortion.
Cosby was revered in our house growing up.
A fave of ours was his line about telling his kids that the grandparents who now spoil them are NOT the same, strict people who raised him.
“They’re old people now, who are trying to get into heaven.”
Well, Cos is old now, and it’s all coming home to roost, isn’t it.
I want some enterprising reporter to ask Bill Cosby: Do you believe juAnita Broaddrick?
but never reported in the UK MSM until his suicide death.
I have always heard that there is nothing more dangerous than sending a fool to college which is where we get many of the so called super stars, although I don`t know that is the case or not.
But people will also allow anything as long as they think they might get something out of it which is also part of the problem.
