Would organizing a riot in order to force a guilty verdict in a trial fall under RICO?

I know RICO was developed to fight organized crime.

Frankly, I wish they’d dust it off and use it for the same purpose, gangs and incidents like this.

These people shouldn’t be able to network with impunity.

The Police know which protests are legit or not. The legit ones contact the police assure them they are there for peaceful purposes, and ask the police what they need to do to comply with lawful guidelines.

This group has set forth a list of demands that pave the way for unlawful activity.

This being the case, I would deny them a permit. The first folks that started showing up, I’d arrest them and charge them with unlawful assemble.

Just get it on the record. This anti-societal behavior will no longer be tolerated.

You can voice your objections to things all you want, but acting out violently is out of fashion from here forward.
