I can guess how it went -
“Let’s show ranks of military members of the various branches, and have one giving a salute as the letter ‘l’”.
“Great, now we have to make sure we include all branches.”
“And all races!” “of Course!”
“Don’t forget the womyn!” “yeah”
“Oh, wouldn’t it be mysognistic to have a man in front, better put a woman in front giving the salute”
It’s still biased though.
Much as I love our female vets (I am a woman), I noticed that the Woman vet is front and center, larger than the others, and dominating the Male vets of all races, lined up behind her.
Just an observation...don’t want to make any trouble!
What do you use instead?
“Looks like they are honoring the women veterans with the men falling behind.”
But she’s a white woman in front of non-white folks. sheesh
Nobody! That way nobody is offended and everybody wins!
