Ready for some groovy news? Starz has ordered a follow-up series to the cult Evil Dead film franchise, titled Ash vs. Evil Dead. The new show will reteam director Sam Raimi with longtime producing partner Rob Tapert and star Bruce Campbell, who will reprise his iconic role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead.

Maybe. Maybe....
OK, if it’s got Bruce Campbell. Shop smart!
All of these zombie shows lately
I posted something like this about a year ago, then nothing happened. Hope they follow through.
LOVE the Evil dead movies.
Over the years i must have seen the first 3 around 25 time each.
The last one was just OK though.
I am just glad that they did not cast Ashton Kutchner in the role of Ash like i had read in a few publications.
Klamath barada nikto! Cough cough!! Ok so maybe I didn’t say it exactly!!
Awesome, another death cult weirdo series. Just what we need. There’s hardly anything on TV that blends wanton violence, with stone cold ethics, set in a dystopian setting.
Boring, where’s a good old western like Gunsmoke?
Classic Evil Dead or the new one? Perhaps based on Evil Dead III the best one
It’s called fun.
The films were shlockey B movie fun and very popular long before the zombie stuff on TV. I don’t even watch those shows.
This is old school.
Read the story. You will be happy.
The pictures are from Army of Darknesss, Evil Dead III but the other 3 versions are more or less straight horror movies and Bruce was in 2 of those movies (he may have been in the new one. Don’t know haven’t seen it. With the popularity of Walking Dead, etc. It would not surprise me to see something morelike the new version (as reported) with some humor tossed in. Let’s hope for more Army of Darkness
