Robert Plant singing “Ramble On” last month in Chicago. He can’t do it anymore.
Although I’m sure his old bandmates would like to strangle him for making them miss out on that windfall.

Agreed. I could never understand how the Hell’s Angels “house” band could put out such wimpy sounding music.

Agreed. I could never understand how the Hells Angels house band could put out such wimpy sounding music. I thought that was the Doobie Brothers.

On the other hand, Plant knows his old voice just cant cut it anymoreAlso Plants looks....VISUALLY he looks too damn old with scraggly beard etc to pull off those Led Zepplin songs which were songs of youth, very cocky attitude and rebellion. He feels too embarrassed to sing them. The Foo Fighters could pull it off. They are young enough and have that rock n roll swagger which Robert Plant lost years ago

In the fine print it probably said that Justin Beiber is the opening act and Lady Gaga gets to sing the encore...

In the fine print it probably said that Justin Beiber is the opening act and Lady Gaga gets to sing the encore... and, time permitting, Frank Sinatra.

I thought both Plant and Jones are living (at least part of the year) outside of Austin, Texas these days.

And I'm sure that's how Plant wants people to remember him, instead of a 60+ year old man singing "Squeeze my lemon until the juice runs down my leg." I thought they grew up seeing 60+ year old blues men singing lyrics like that...

I’m serious! The dude was the original Scream band singer! That guy WAILS and he sounds in pain!.
Granted, I like it and it fits the tunes, but he DOES sound like that to me ;)
