The pro-abortion NAACP is coming under fire for completely ignoring the election of pro-life African-America candidates in Tuesdays election. The venerable civil rights group is increasingly pushing its abortion agenda and has been embroiled in a lawsuit seeking to deny free speech rights to a prominent black pro-life advocate.
The NAACP has also attempted to intimidate LifeNews into ceasing its reporting of its pro-abortion position and activities.
Not only did pro-life candidates win huge election victories across the board last night, but black pro-life candidates won as well and helped undermine false criticism from the other side that somehow the pro-life issue is not one that resonates with African-Americans. But the NAACP makes no mention of their victories.
The Washington Free Beacon describes the latest NAACP antics:
GOP Deputy Press Secretary Raffi Williams slammed the NAACP for ignoring the historic elections of candidates Mia Love (R., Utah) and Tim Scott (R., S.C.). Williams criticized the NAACP on Twitter Thursday, saying If the [NAACP] was a truly bipartisan org thay [sic] would support all blacks not just dem Blacks.
Williams told Fox & Friends host Ainsley Earhardt that all black accomplishments in America should be congratulated.
The fact that we have more black people in elected office should be something to celebrate because it is for the advancement of all black people, despite your ideology, Williams said.
Its an important step. Its historic that Tim Scott is the first black person ever elected to both the House and the Senate if they choose to ignore it, I think it shows a fault on their part.

In the deep South, South Carolina voters sent pro-life Republican Tim Scott back to the U.S. Senate, making him the first black candidate to win a statewide race there since just after the Civil War. Scott is also the first African-American senator from the South since Reconstruction.
Meanwhile, in Utah, Mia Love won her congressional race to become the first black Republican woman in Congress. Love is a proudly pro-life candidate who had strong support from pro-life groups.
And in Texas, pro-life congressional candidate Will Hurd won his race, unseating Rep. Pete Gallego.
I sleep like a baby every night knowing I did absolutely everything I could to win this race, Hurd said of waiting until the bitter end for results. We always knew it was going to come down to the very end.

Perhaps this is THE turning point in America that Jesseh and the other race baiters get dis-enfranchised.
I am shocked.
Just shocked.
SHOCKED.
Interesting that the women who do abort are killing off their own progeny and thus lessening, one might conclude, the likelihood of rearing MORE abortion-minded females.
They should change their name to the NAAAP - National Association for the Advancement of Abortion Providers.
Lol. You've been listening to RUSHBO. :o)
The victory of William Hurd (a black guy in the 90% Hispanic Rio Grande Valley) is a huge story.
This election was not about who won but the rather the citizens who lost the right to participate, wrote NAACP president and CEO Cornell William Brooks.
I think this is terrible, maybe Congress should hold hearing’s so Mr Brooks of the NAACP can bring in all these disenfranchised voters to testify. And if He CANNOT PRODUCE THESE ELIGIBLE VOTERS well then maybe they really aren’t NON-PARTISAN and should have their TAX EXEMPT status REVOKED.
So we see William Hurd, Mia Love, and Tim Scott, all black Republicans, elected to Congress. And the NAACP has nothing to say about their elections.
Liberals have nothing good to say about their elections.
Liberals urge us to celebrate diversity.
Each of these candidates increase diversity in the Congress.
Mia Love increases gender diversity as well as ethnic diversity in Congress.
Liberals tell us they value diversity as a key value of theirs.
Thus, based on liberals own criteria, they should be celebrating the election of these three people to Congress.
Why aren’t they celebrating? Do you mean that minorities or women have to be liberal to be acceptable, is that it???
There was a time when the NAACP rejected the CPUSA.
Plantation blacks don’t care about dead black babies, or black children killed by black thugs, because those deaths don’t provide them with an opportunity to rouse their rabble, and they don’t want to waste their time. Black leaders need white devils to blame before they will speak out.
Something about crabs in a bucket comes to mind.
I think it is more like the NAACP members are the “overseers” — slaves picked by their elite Democrat Masters to make sure their fellow slaves keep working and don’t leave the plantation, in return for special favors from their masters.
