But, but, but........I thought the whole idea behind I-594 was to close loopholes. Obviously more loophole closure is gonna be needed. How about any firearms movement must first be passed by the local leo's, then the state leo's then the feds. That ought to close them pesky loopholes. In the meantime, the bad guys will "Carry on and commit a crime!"

Yeah right all those Gentle Giants out there.

Don’t comply. If your guns are registered (you’re an idiot, but that another matter) and the gestapo comes looking for them, you lost them when Mt. St. Helens blew. If you’re the buyer, give some phony name — Barry Soetero for example — and let them run the check. Transfer the guns in another state.

When this knee-jerk feel-good claptrap fails to make any dent in the violent crime rate and the state has to spend millions defending it against 2nd Amendment lawsuits, it will either be repealed or overturned.

Until then, fight back any way you can. F the fascists!

Go to any range anywhere in WA, and wait for the dad’s to show up with their kids. Make your arrests there, as soon as the kid fires down range with the .22.

That’s how bad this law is.

The temporary solution (until rule of law is restored and FedGov/states stop attempting to violate our God-given rights) is to buy plenty of extra guns. You can’t have just one 9mm pistol - what if it needs maintenance? Get two for each person in the family. You can’t have just one AR-15, get a box of 80% lowers, have each family member finish two, and then the thugs don’t even know they exist. Shotguns? Take Joe Biden’s advice and get two for each person, in each gauge. That way you never have to temporarily transfer a gun to a family member.

The law is useless because there is no gun registry. LEOs have no idea who owns what gun or when they got it. Even going forward the background check is not tied to a specific gun.

There is no way to enforce this law, so next election they will be back with a desperately needed "fix", yep gun registration.
