Notes: Teams in the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series will run the same tire codes at Phoenix this week . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that NASCAR teams have run at this track since November 2013 . . . this left-side tire code (D-4612) was introduced at Phoenix last November, while this right-side code (D-4594) debuted at the track in March 2013 . . . Phoenix is the only track at which either of these two tire codes will be run in 2014 . . . as on most NASCAR ovals one mile or less in length, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at Phoenix.
NASCAR K&N Pro Series West: Goodyear will also provide tires for the K&N race at Phoenix this week . . . the tire codes will be D-2931 on the left-side and D-2934 on the right-side . . . Phoenix is the only track at which West teams will run these tire codes . . . Goodyear will bring 200 tires per side for this event . . . teams are allowed three sets of tires for this event -- two sets for practice and one set for qualifying and the race.
