Larson to run camo scheme at Phoenix: In honor and observance of Veteran's Day, which is Nov. 11, the usually easy to spot Team Target Chevy will feature a red camouflage paint scheme. The camo paint scheme is a small way of saying thank you to all the military veterans for their sacrifice and service. Target has hired veterans in 2014 in conjunction with their work with the 100,000 Jobs Mission, which is a pledge to hire more veterans and has seen over 140,000 veterans hired this year. In addition to the special camo paint scheme this weekend, Larson also will be showing support for the Pat Tillman Foundation, which was founded to honor the late Arizona State University (ASU) player and U.S. Army Ranger. Tillman, who wore #42 while playing at ASU, proudly put his NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals on hold to serve in the Army, and was killed in action in Afghanistan while serving with the 75th Ranger Regiment. The Pat Tillman Foundation was established in 2008 to honor Tillman's legacy of leadership and service through investing in veterans and their spouses through academic scholarships, and has invested more than $10 million in academic support.(CGR)(11-7-2014)
