It’s all about good breeding and good socialization. My male Rottweiler is trustworthy because we bought a good dog and took the time to socialize and train him.He will still protect if needed but he takes the time to think before he acts.
... and he only roughed up that convenience store owner once...
. being babysat by his grandmother... What? Was being babysat? Did they really mean being babysitted? Sheesh. Hope the little tike is okay
Really mean tyke? :) Couldn’t resist
Trike? LOL! Yup. I goofed again. The “I” is only two letters off from the “Y”.
“”But he was a good dog. He was just turning his life around. He was in the church choir, was fostering some puppies and had applied to attend obedience school next year.””
That’s funny and funny how we come to expect those excuses when it comes to the “other” predators. We’re getting to be an awful cynical nation and I can’t understand why... (s)
Pit Bulls: The garbage breed for trashy people.
Most little toddlers that age would be in a playpen for a nap and not be able to go outside the house.
All dogs do. I’ve seen little kids bitten by everything from Pit Bulls to Beagles. You have be very careful with any little kid and a dog. They just don’t recognize the warning signs the dog is trying to give them.
To this day children will just walk up to him and grab him by the face/ears so as to hug and kiss him.
It scared me the first couple of times, and I reprimanded the children that unknown dogs are not safe to hug. If they do it to my dog (who will never in a million years bite anyone), they are gonna do it to the wrong dog someday.
