Mia Love in Utah makes history, becomes first African American republican elected to US Congress
Surrrrre, all Scotts are alike eh? ;^) lol
Yessss!!! :-)
So is Huntsman. I’ve met governor Herbert. I’m certain he’s a Mormon, but he, and the vast majority of our state legislature are staunchly conservative, no matter what the Denver Post owned Salt Lake Tribune spews.
This is going to make the DU crowed’s heads explode...
“Lee is a good one as far as I can see”
So much for your “She would definitely be the first.”
Make up your mind.
The long-faced crew on CNN have already been exploding over the new “GOP Diversity”... They seem quite perplexed. ;-)
Does it hurt you that much that a black woman got elected in Utah ???
OK I’ll leave you in your sorrow..
Meanwhile we’ll celebrate without you..
quietly of course..
Nobody can be trusted to be conservative until you see how they vote. Been burned by a lot of non-Mormons too! I don't look to politicians for my spiritual leadership.
I just looked at CNN...they are spinning for the Dems so much I’m having a hard time watching them....such a blur.
Congrats to Mia! So happy she won. She is going to be a great representative for Conservatives.
Hallelujah!
You're the one trying to rain on this parade with your malicious drivel about Brigham Young. You're a brainless old witch with a thing about Mormons. As anyone who scans your posting history will realize.
As I said, you need to STFU and let the rest of us celebrate a historic GOP win.
That’s great
Huntsman though had my BS meter pegging and was literally speaking Chinese at one point in the debates
Bottom line is that Utah and the Mormons are fine people but put the interests of the cult ahead of the interests of the outsiders
This has nothing to do with Mia Love, she starts with a clean slate.
Shes not in my district either, (I voted for Chaffetz), but really wanted to vote for Mia.

I like Jason Chaffetz!
+1
Thank you.
She’ll be amazing.
Me too, but I knew how much opposition to Mia the national party was waging against her, and as suspected, it was a tight race. I knew Chaffetz would win outright as the incumbent, he’s another good guy!
Senator Scott won with 61.19%, as compared to Lindsey Grahamnesty's 54.48%.
The other great thing about Mia’s win tonight, is that with this switch, now Utah’s entire delegation to Washington, in both houses, is GOP!
