I have a Bacon-Cheese Brunch on the oven. We’re having a food day today at work today. I’m providing breakfast. They’re having a food day at Mr. S job too. He’s taking sloppy joes.

They caught Frein last night...U.S. marshals, and they waited til PaState Police could arrive...why? The Troopers brought the handcuffs of the slain Trooper to us to bring Frein in. #WellDone

Mrs p6’s company is having their Halloween party today. Lots’ of food. Not sure what mrs p6 is taking. It’s already in the truck.
She is going as a tree that has been TP’d. nothing complicated but it turned out pretty good.
tonight she and the rest of the family are all going to daughter’s house for trick or treating.
I’m staying home and drinking pumpkin beer.
Hey it’s my day/night off and I am going to relax.
Her mommy made her an owl costume. She has a winter hat with owl eyes and beak. She made a poncho-like costume that goes over her coat. Good thing - it sounds like it’s going to be cold tonight!
I’m afraid it sounds like Quinn is out of options. Or at least he’s not taking advantage of options that are available. It’s now two weeks to the date of the last Q&R broadcast. Rose is making appearances for Corbett. Quinn is still as sharp and opinionated at ever.
I thought I’d heard that the cop that survived the Frein shooting was the one who snapped on the handcuffs. Anybody else hear that?
There are a lot of odd things about the capture last night.
There are pics of him sitting in a police car BUT he has a full head of hair, a bloody nose and he is CLEAN SHAVEN. Now even if he had been in that hanger for awhile he sure looks clean and neat for being in the woods for over a month.
And it has been reported that just before he shot the officer he shaved his head into a mohawk. Then there is another picture that purportedly is after he was captured ...HE HAS THE MOHAWK, A BEARD AND HIS NOSE ISN’T BLOODY!
Curious...
DIL has to work so son and Mr S are taking baby sneaks around. They are going around with sister in law and kids. baby sneaks too young for candy, of course. Mr S always takes dog too. I, too, will stay home. We haven’t had trick-or-treaters for a couple of years, but there are some tykes in the neighborhood this year who are old enough. We always buy candy ‘just in case’.

I made buffalo chicken dip for our food day at work. I had to leave a batch at home for Mr Penguin.
They said we could wear costumes, but nah. I have a ghost pin that goes “ooooooo” so that’s good enough.
Wish mrs p6 and I had thought of this costume.
Stuff two pillows down the back, carry a cheeseburger in one hand, a couple of carrots in the other, add a sensible blouse and go as Michelle Obama.
I wondered when I saw the photo of Frien in the back of the police car, they he looked too “clean” (but maybe he had a helper hiding him somewhere w/running water)? I’m just glad he’s in custody and the the people of that area can get back to normal.

A couple days ago we were talking about being gluten free...well my Buffalo chicken dip IS...so Im going to make this afternoon for my daughter (corn chips and celery stix to dip also gf!)
Grandbaby, who has wavy dark brown hair and BIG blue eyes is going as Princess Sophia the First:) she looks JUST LIKE the cartoon...
Also, speaking of QUINN and cars, our 10 year old Focus quit on us. We replaced the battery over the weekend, but it’s the alternator that’s gone now...repair too costly for value of the car...so (fingers crossed here...and FReinds plz send good thoughts our way) we are hoping to get a Jeep Compass this afternoon. If not...I’m drowning my sorrows and car worries in Halloween candy tonight when I get home.
We don’t dress up at work...but I do plan on wearing a black sweater and a witches hat (hey! It conceals roots! I wear my Santa hat all December for same reason:) )

Kind of a strange costume but it didn’t cost anything.
The big white box on the floor is full of Lionel and American Flyer tains fron the ‘50’s. They are going on Ebay soon as I can take decent pics.
