The winner and loser of the lawsuit between Al Jazeera America and former Current TV CEO Al Gore is yet to be determined, but ratings comparisons between the two show a clear winner.
After buying Current TV in early 2013, and debuting over the summer that year, Al Jazeera has lost almost half of Current TV's audience.

Americans not tuning into Pro-Hamas Qatar owned news network. I hope I am not having to pay for this state owned propaganda on my cable bill.

Wow! Going from twelve viewers to only six will really hurt their advertising rates.

But the good news for them is that we has a porous border, so those numbers should be back up in no time.

I did watch it on occasion before I got rid of ATT Uverse. News stories seemed more balanced than the drivel from abccbsnbcmssnbccnn, etc. I find it good for mental health on occasion to turn off Fox or One America. Helps my blood pressure, keeps me from beating the wife, and does give one a different point of view to help understand libtards. So I guess when I pulled the ATT plug their viewership was cut in half from two down to one viewer!

And keep in mind that Currenttv’s ratings were already microscopic. Now they’re subatomic.
But of course Comcast keeps featuring it, but have no room for The Blaze.

I found the network more palatable before they created the America version. I’ve not watched it much since.

I fastidiously avoided Current when it was added. Pity, there was an intriguing fantasy/paranormal show with William Sanderson on it that I passed by out of contempt for the channel owners and philosophy.

To: C19fan
    Good.
So maybe Al Jazeera will be the one to sell the network to Glenn Beck?

It is a shame there is not a true ala carte television signal provider. Don't mind paying for what I want to watch, but I hate paying for the filth and agendas on the channels I do not want to see. Yeah there are internet options, but they still are limited.

I believe they own the new sports channel BEin sports. Carries soccer and some other sports. The Spanish, French, and Italian top leagues are on there. Not the English Premier which is on NBCSN. Next year Fox Soccer will start carrying the Germany soccer league, or should I say Bayern Munich and the other 19 teams. Munich dominates that league. This year is the last year of GoalTV carrying the German league. But BEin sports I heard was owned by Ole Al De generate.

Current was worth tuning into once in awhile to laugh at their global warming hysteria, or enjoy the specter of Keith Olbermann’s head exploding when the Left was having a particularly bad day.
Since it became AJAM I have not tuned there once.

Taking a cue from Fox News, Al Jazeera has hired a hot, new Islamist-babe to read the news during its morning program to stem the tide of crumbling ratings.
