Maybe the pulling of money out of the state turned out to be a strategic decision based on them seeing that Walker was finally pulling away. National campaigns regularly double down, or reduce spending, depending on how the candidate is doing in their polls. Just a thought. While I don’t like the national GOP I can’t see any reason why they would want Walker to lose.
