Honey Boo Boo’s mom June Shannon is facing intense scrutiny over her supposed rekindled relationship with child molester Mark McDaniel, but he isn't the first sex offender she has dated.
Michael Anthony Ford, 37, also dated Mama June and is the father of her 17-year-old daughter Jessica 'Chubbs' Shannon.
After the pair split he served over two years in prison for the sexual exploitation of a child over the internet in 2005 and remains on the sex offender registry.

I suspect some people need a show like this to feel better about themselves.
And to think TLC was once “The Learning Channel” and used to air some really good documentaries.
It demonstrates the social circles that Mom hangs out in.
You both posted basically the same thing to me - and you are right. I wasn’t thinking about that. I guess using that logic women in the ghetto have almost no chance of finding a decent man to marry and raise children with. Another reason to get your children out of those government sponsored cesspools called government housing.
They do, if they choose to. All they have to do is:
1) Stay in school.
2) Not get pregnant before marriage.
3) Don't get involved in any criminal activities.
4) Get a job which allows them to interact with stable, employed young men and ultimately pays enough for them to move into an apartment in a middle class area.
Not enough choose to do this.
Yes - because they can qualify for FREE college or technical training so they CAN get out of the ghetto.
Once upon a time they were The Learning Channel. They had shows about ancient warriors like ninjas and Brian Boru.
Why does every single channel in existence have to betray its stated purpose and show nothing but "reality?" I miss the history on History Channel, old TV on TVLand, etc.!
Reality TV is cheap to produce. People watch it. That makes it profitable.
The purpose of TV, is to get eyeballs to watch the advertisements (or pay the cable fee). The cheaper the product, the more profit.
