I support this, too.

For one thing, it is difficult for any parent to save enough money to pay for ONE child's education. Eight is an impossible task.

Secondly, I'd say it's about time we let our adult children make their own adult decisions about life -- and pay the costs themselves. When there is a societal expectation that parents support their children well into adulthood ... and ObamaCare even mandates that employers must pay medical insurance costs for the grown children of their employees up to the age of 26 ... is it any wonder that so many people never grow up?

I agree; as it is, they get twelve years of free schooling and of course, the internet provides endless information. So it’s not like they’re without resources. I do think that trade school is an important factor in maturity and students are wrecking university because they’re treating it like four years of recess from adulthood. If they had to pay in full I am sure they would be more mature and learn something practical.

Parents aren’t legally obligated to pay for their kid’s schooling.
