“Bristol is presidential material“.

“Good lord!“

The fact that you cannot entertain the idea that in 15 years, BP may very well be qualified to hold that office, is one reason we are given GHW Bush, Dole, Bush, Bush, McCain, and Romney to vote for.

A few of us on FR are not content with what choices we have been offered and are dissatisfied with GOP in-box thinking.

Well said and I of course agree. To expand a bit on my posts in the thread, the entire Palin family is despised by liberals. While that alone is not sufficient to advocate that Sarah and Bristol would be excellent in the office of President of the United States, it certainly is a factor in their favor. The whole Palin family are Patriots of the first rate.

Like mother, like daughter applies to their no-nonsense stand when it comes to fools. We all remember how Joe Biden was dismantled in the 2008 VP debates. Governor Palin's keen mind was punctuated by incisive, effective verbal attacks on Biden. I see the same qualities in Bristol as well. She doesn't back down and resolutely stands her ground.

Unsaid until now in my posts is the enormous support that Bristol would get from her mom while serving. Add all of that up and I think it's clear why I support Bristol Palin should she choose to run.

Looking at the more immediate future, I'm still a wee bit undecided on a pairing with Governor Palin for the 2016 ticket. I think Palin/Gohmert is a great combination since it combines a skilled executive with a fighting congresman with a military background. And it offers geographic balance. For the same reason, I vacillate and find Palin/Cruz appealing. However, I can see bigger things ahead for Senator Cruz such as an appointment to the Supreme Court and, ultimately to Chief Justice.

Courtesy ping to KC Lion to get his take on my musings.
