Christmas toys aside; thank our government for the trade imbalance. I am in the commercial/industrial lighting business. All we hear about is energy savings and the gov't is making laws mandating that we all use energy efficient lighting. Why then, is it now illegal to produce those LED and magnetic induction lights here?

The environmental lobby is a big part of it, but I suspect lobbyists swing more weight.
