“Orange is the New Black” Stars Design Shirts for Planned Parenthood

Orange is the New Black stars have partnered with Planned Parenthood, the nations largest abortion business, in their campaign “Women are Watching.”

The campaign is intended to get women to the polls and vote for pro-abortion politicians this November. Selenis Leyva and Natasha Lyonne helped designed t-shirts that read, “I am one of the 99% of women who have used birth control,” on the front and “It’s my business. Not politicians’” on the back.

organgeisthenewblackSelenis Leyva said, “It’s hard to believe that there are still politicians trying to take away our access to birth control. This is not a controversial issue for women and it should be a rallying call for young women to get out the vote on November 4th in support of candidates that will stand up and fight for them. We need to make our voices heard and send a message loud and clear that we refuse to let politicians take us back.”

In a press release sent by Planned Parenthood, Natasha Lyonne said, “Politics aside — birth control is basic health care. Anyone who says differently is deeply out of touch. That’s why I’m proud to partner with Planned Parenthood Action Fund to make sure people get out and vote and send a message to politicians that you can’t win the support of women if you’ve spent your entire career attacking our access to basic health care. This is about respect and equality. And if politicians don’t trust women to make our own health care decisions, then we can’t trust those politicians to fight for us.”

However, as LifeNews previously reported, Planned Parenthood actually opposes over the counter birth control. The Washington Examiner reports “Planned Parenthood opposes over-the-counter contraception, pushing back against a popular Republican argument being used in many Senate races this year. The nonprofit’s lobbying arm, which advocates for women’s reproductive health issues, argued that calls for allowing birth control pills to be sold without a prescription are “empty gestures.”

orangeisthenewblack2These celebrities are unaware that Planned Parenthood doesn’t care about birth control; they care about abortion. While they claim they help millions of women, Kristan Hawkins, the President of Students for Life explains the problem with Planned Parenthood and contraception.

“Here’s the problem – the contraception Planned Parenthood offers to sexually active teens and young adults is faulty. Students on college campuses are shocked to find out that Consumer Reports rated Planned Parenthood condoms as the lowest quality, meaning they will fail more times to prevent pregnancy than other condoms. In addition, that hormonal contraception they push has been labeled by the liberal World Health Organization as a Type 1 Carcinogen – the same category which includes cigarettes and asbestos – which means it causes cancer.”

Ultimately, the abortion giant wants women to come to them for birth control so that when it fails they go to Planned Parenthood to have an abortion. In 2012, Planned Parenthood performed 327,166 abortions, maintaining their position as the largest abortion business in America. They also raked in 1.2 billion dollars in net assets, of which almost half came from our tax dollars.

Their breast cancer screening services dropped by 14% and their prenatal services by 32%. For every one-adoption referral that Planned Parenthood facilitated, they performed 149 abortions. And, once again, they did not perform a single mammogram. Planned Parenthood doesn’t help women; they sell abortion and it’s really unfortunate that these celebrates are helping them do it.

Its your choice to use birth control. I really don’t care if you do or not. Just don’t ask us to pay for your rubbers. Any mens room has the darn things and PP gives them away.

I really wonder what the HUGE push is to kill so many of our American babies? Who can be behind this but Satan and his minions?

“For every one-adoption referral that Planned Parenthood facilitated, they performed 149 abortions.”

Wow. Just, Wow.

Can SOMEONE PLEASE explain to me - and I’ve been ASKING this for DECADES, now - WHY Pro-Life organizations aren’t as savvy with the marketing as the Pro-Death crowd is?

How HARD would it be to counter EVERY ‘service’ these evil cretins offer with one of hope and light and ADOPTION?

I have NEVER been able to figure that one out. There’s absolutely NO stigma any longer to getting knocked up out of wedlock...why NOT go after the ‘murder’ aspect of this and APPLAUD and LAUD the girls that give up their babies for a better life through adoption?

What IS the disconnect, here? I just don’t get it! Murdering your child is a better alternative than giving that child a life with a family that WANTS it?

Fer Pete’s Sake - PAY these girls to give up their children through adoption? Would THAT work? Another ‘follow the money’ deal? If we made giving UP your baby for adoption as LUCRATIVE as it is to KILL said baby, would THAT help?

Meh. I give up!

and PP gives them away

Who do you think pays for what PP gives away? The taxpayer, that's who.

It’s easier (and less expensive) to vehemently complain about something rather than making a concerted effort to fix it.

not a surprise most actors are dumb as rocks which explains why they embrace every leftwing cause due to it being easy to advocate.

Wait...are you calling ME the complainer? Or those on the Right that want to save lives, but don’t do enough about it?

I’ve got no horse in this race.

There has GOT to be a REASON that those against abortion aren’t hanging from the lamp posts, screaming at the tops of their lungs.

I’m just trying to figure out...why aren’t they?

Birth Control to Libtards is abortion.

If it wasn’t for PP African Americans wouldn’t kill %50 of their new born children every year.
