You must have had Mexican food in Minnesota a long time ago. Vast stretches of Lake Street in Minneapolis and parts of St. Paul are nothing but Hispanic mercados and taquerias and panaderias. I even saw a taco truck in small town Worthington, Minnesota.

Chipotle is fine for what it is, but even this Minnesotan knows it is not authentic.

No offense, but most of Minnesota thinks that spice means salt and pepper. Lol

Minnie has a good selection of restaurants, but the rest of the state is pretty much meat and potatoes (and corn). Grill and bar or bar and grill—not exactly Cali or New Mexico...
