I have a niece who "married" another woman and is now pregnant via some guy's swimmers. The plan is to use the same guy's sperm so that later her wife can become pregnant and the two kids would be blood siblings.

My neice's immediate family is very supportive, but others are not happy about it. One person said when she was told about the upcoming pregnancy, "Well, at least she waited until she was married before she got pregnant."

It seems that getting married first is the only "moral" thing that took place.

Yeah, just try to go to one of the “mainstream” chat sites like yahoo or AOL and try to post anything that is not on the “party line” when in comes to gay rights or gay marriage. You will immediately be set upon, called every name in the book and even threatened. Most of the people on our side have just got tired of dealing with that crap and no longer even bother, which is unfortunately exactly what the other sides wants, to cut our side out of the public discourse entirely.

I worked with a woman who was lesbian and had a baby obviously by artificial means as she lived with her partner “Butch”. This male child was being raised by at least one partner who was openly anti male and frequently voiced disparaging remarks about males in general. I have often wondered how this poor kid turned out. I can’t help to think he was screwed up by the relationship.
