Colorados Senate race is trending Republican, as the most recent poll, by Fox News, shows Cory Gardner leading Mark Udall by six points. Udall has run a lackluster campaign dominated by a tired, over-the-top war on women theme, and this morning the Denver Post, not known as a bastion of Republicanism, endorsed Gardner.
Still, the race is competitive on paper. So why has Harry Reids Senate Majority PAC just cancelled $289,000 worth of broadcast ads?

The Demons are on the run!
Udall has embarrassed himself. The Dems are looking to put their money on someone who can win.
Nah, the democrats just been binging on pot and it will be temporary. When they sober they will be back with the tribe of ignorant and they will return their normal ignorant self.
The only war on women is democrats hatred of any woman who challenges them
This is the first mail in ballot only so they look to not support a failing cause. Uterus Udall has seriously backfired.
Nah. The race is much closer based on every other poll. That’s just one PAC of many.
The dopers got what they wanted, now they don’t give a rats ass who wins. They are too stoned to care.
Probably why the Chickenpooper made his remarks about the dope being a mistake.
Sounds like a reasonable theory. But I don’t see anyway politically about repealing legal pot. No way. No how. It will eventually go the way of tobacco where they tax the h3ll out of it and restrict public usage.
Probably right. Any time the government gets hold of it, the prices go up. It is a new “ no end to the taxes trough for democrats”.
Has nobody here noticed that the LIBERAL Denver Post just endorsed Gardner this afternoon?
Unless other money replaces this, it’s great news for Republicans.
If you want to see what candidate is ahead, you always follow the money trail. If Colorado falls, the Republicans likely take the Senate.
“Udall has embarrassed himself.”
He really has. Basically, he’s run a single ad a gazillion times attacking Gardner for something he supported a long time ago (one of the “personhood” initiatives) which Gardner has since decided wasn’t such a good idea, and most objective sources have declared the ad to be “half-true”.
It makes Udall look like a one-issue candidate, and that he cares nothing about the dozen really big issues most bothering to most people right now, and worse for Udall, strategy-wise, he’s preaching to the choir and not convincing anyone who wasn’t already going to vote for him anyway.
I don’t know what idiot is running his campaign, but I’m certainly thankful for him/her for nuking Udall’s chances of returning to the Senate.
Colorado is in the bag. Imo. So is Alaska and Arkansas. Louisiana and Iowa will fall next. Add in Montana, West Virginia and South Dakota, and that’s 8 seat steals.
Allowing a loss or two in Georgia Kentucky and/or Kansas to get +6 needed.
“Has nobody here noticed that the LIBERAL Denver Post just endorsed Gardner this afternoon?”
Oh yeah, and the Dim PACs have already started cancelling Udall TV ad buys, which is what the posted article is all about.
The commie ‘RATs already played the pothead “legalize it and tax the hell out of it” card. They have no way to get the potheads to the polls in November now. The potheads got what they wanted.
It is unwise to make that assumption.
Boulder and Denver counties will certainly vote the Democrat ticket. There is also the prospect of substantial vote fraud in both places, which could inflate Udall's total showing.
It's not over until it's over.
I factored in the voter fraud. I’ve got Gardner by 8-9 so he wins by 5-6. Plus Boulder hippies too stoned to remember to vote.
That’s impressive if it turns out.
Colorado went hard left very quickly.
From +5 Bush in 2004 to +5 Baraq in 2012
(disregarding 2008 when Baraq was in his Messiah phase and was +9)
There’s blood in the water. Udall and Hickenlooper are bleeding.
