True, but it did expressly name the rights that were to be protected from intrusion by the federal government. I think we all understand that, but it never hurts to point it out. So, thanks, and your excellent point taken.

NP. Not trying to be a nit picker but....oh just call it one of those things that grates on my optic nerve when I see it. I must learn to walk away from the keyboard at those times.     =;^)

Which includes the Ninth Amendment, which the intelligentsia has chosen to ignore. One of Mark Levin's intellectual buddies is Randy Barnett, author of Restoring the Lost Constitution. It focuses on the Ninth, those rights not itemized in the BOR, and how the federal courts should treat them. Highly recommended.
