'Is he a movie star? A terror group?' Jimmy Kimmel asks people who Joe Biden is... and no one knows
There is a 20+ second ad at the beginning. KLBJ, the local talk radio station in Austin played this earlier today. Remember, these peoples' vote mean just as much as ours do. Talk about low information voters, they have the market cornered.

Who is Joe Biden?
A doofus who would be downright comical if he didn't hold a position of public responsibility.

I bet the guys Kimmel's crew asked who Joe Biden is could name the pitching line up of the New York Yankees.
The priorities of the American public is all messed up.

I’ll bet the same crew couldn’t identify Eisenhower, Gerald Ford, Gandhi, Churchill or Stalin. There’s no chance they have even heard of Linus Pauling, Jonas Salk or Christiaan Barnard.

Who is Joe Biden?
A new malt liquor.
(Points to anyone who remembers the reference.)

During “O’s” first Presidential campaign, I worked at a survey research center.
Not ONE self-identified Democrat could ID a single supreme court justice, didn't know who Nancy Pelosi was, didn't know who Joe Biden was, didn't know who John McCain was, didn't know the branches of government, didn't know who Harry Reid was, didn't know their own state representatives, didn't know their own congressional leaders, and SOME didn't even know if they were Liberal or Conservative... except to say they would (always had) voted Democrat.

I think there needs to be a political IQ test before being allowed to vote. The LIVs have ruined this country.

Right and if we can’t have THAT, we need a political IQ test for candidates.

The only people allowed to vote should be taxpayers and military. The others contribute nothing and should have no say.

We need a 5 question basic civics quiz to pre-qualify people to vote. And they have to be able to read and answer the questions by themselves.

BUT, if we wanted that, we would be viewed as racists. I told my older sister her voting rights should be taken away when she voted for Clinton/Gore because she thought Gore was the better looking VP candidate. That was at a Thanksgiving dinner. She didn’t speak to me for almost a full year.

A similar poll about Lyndon Johnson was taken at the Kansas State Fair in the early 60s. Same results.

The only people allowed to vote should be taxpayers and military.....Property owners and active military, as the constitution was meant to be.

Sad, sad, sad! I once had a guy about 10 years older than myself ask me if I was a democrat or republican. I told him I was a pretty conservative guy, so I definitely lean republican, but I am not republican.
He told me that just because I was conservative didn’t mean I had to vote for republicans. Needless to say, I was shocked and gave him a piece of my mind in a firm and respectful way.

Yup, there were some real winners in that bunch. Kind of like the interviews after the 2008 election when voters were asked about “Who said ‘I can see Russia from my house’” and they all said Sarah Palin, even though it was Tina Fey on SNL.

We need a 5 question basic civics quiz to pre-qualify people to vote. And they have to be able to read and answer the questions by themselves. I agree. I've been saying that for years.
- What are the three branches of our government?
- What are the first three words of the Constitution of The United States?
- Who are the two candidates for president?
- What is the Bill of Rights?
- What are the two houses, or chambers, of Congress?
