I honestly believe as a lot of people say, Islam is not a religion, it’s a government (Sharia), it’s a Theocracy. That’s what the manifesto by the lady at the Gun Cave says and that’s true. Not to plug what she is saying.
In Saudi Arabia, right, they cut off hands for stealing?? Well, the Government is doing that following Islam. So is it the religion doing it? The government doing it? Sharia Law doing it? It obviously is a bit complex.

If the non-Islam world were to unite and crush Islam into extinction, the previous Muslim population would have nothing to tie itself together.
Extinct Islam would leave an enormous vacuum such that in the wake of the extinction a self-organizing process around budding leaders would be based on something yet unknown.
Following extinction of Islam at least a hundred years would ensue where the name and history of Mohammed and the Koran would necessarily be forbidden.
A billion people without direction could give rise to something worse that what exists now.
Martyrdom must necessarily become a prevented path and its ‘glory’ must be replaced with the notion of demented insanity.
The burden on the Non-Islam world to accomplish this extinction would be so great as to require a hatred and force that could be just as dangerous as Islam itself.
An ancient Roman approach would have such people enslaved and kept so busy there would be no time or opportunity to self-organize.
Similar to a Roman approach a Stalinist approach would have such people put on trains and sent to collectives to work until they dropped from exhaustion or from bullets.
Christianity today could not convert Muslims because Muslims have already cleverly decided that Jesus was a lesser Prophet and not God in the flesh. Obviously this was done to neuter the spread of Christianity throughout the conquered Muslim world.
Muslims without Mohammed and the Koran would be left with no guiding principles and no history. Likely they would go underground and become dangerous.
Mustafa Kemal ‘Atatürk’ was successful in squelching Islam from the public square but only for about 90 years as Islam now emerges again in Turkey.
A study of the life of Atatürk may hold the key to finding a long term solution to quashing or mitigating Islam.
Any solution to ridding the world of the Islamic menace is not going to be pretty and will require brutal force, hence Christianity is not a means to accomplish the eradication or pacification.
The eradication or dampening of Islam to a social murmur by driving it underground must necessarily be persistent and forever; a huge undertaking and enormous burden.
Perhaps an Islamic ‘Joseph Smith’ will arise who will miraculously find in his backyard a golden book of Mohammed previously unseen that will have Mohammed’s words prohibit any violence in the life of any observant Muslim. This would not work either as it is violence that holds the notion of Islam together.
One thing seems certain, Islam is completely Un-American and can never be assimilated into American Society. America has been able to absorb all other cultures except for Islam which refuses to be Americanized.
Muslims must see themselves for what they are, a new Nazi-like phenomena and they must squelch themselves as Atatürk had them do.
