Between prescribed psychotropic drugs and the eventual legalization of all illegal drugs ... we will soon be a completely stoned nation, willing to accept anything.

The tiny (non-pot) minority hardly justifies the “war on drugs.” Especially the other problems we have!

Marijuana; 19.8 million users
Non-med pescription drugs; 4.5 million users
Cocaine; 1.5 million users
Methamphetamines; 595,000 users
Heroin; 289,000 users
Wouldn’t have guessed these numbers. Would have thought more meth and heroin.

Whaaaa....?
There's nothing wrong with illicit drugs.
They are only illicit cuz those in charge don't want us to have any FUN.

The whole prescription drug industry is killing us... My father was diagnosed years ago with manic depression and put on some heavy crap... over the years they changed from one to another and mixed a few together and nothing seemed to work. 3 years ago, went to a new VA Doctor, they did all sorts of tests and finally came back and said he is an untreatable Manic Depressive personality and they added 2 more drugs to the 3 he was already taking. Read that again, Untreatable, but we are going to mix in 2 more heavy duty mind altering drugs to the 3 that you are already taking... Things went downhill from there, he started getting violent with my step mom. The bad episode happened on vacation in Palm Springs he tried to go out the hotel window... Got committed for evaluation and found a doctor that took him off of everything. They ran some more tests and found out he had early onset Parkinson disease and had some heart issues that required a pacemaker. Since the pacemaker and treatment for Parkinson, he has been off all the heavy shit and doing better that he has for quite a few years now.

How can such a supposedly small percentage of our population pay the huge amounts of money that run the drug cartels?

Not even close to real numbers, it’s far higher.

the only evidence that matters is that Obama was elected twice.
