In a situation like that I’d probably just be saying my prayers.
I am far more afraid of being tortured than of being killed.
In a more fair place hope I would fight to the death.
They could have been promised a quick death by beheading as compared to a slow death by torture.
My opinion is that they run rehearsals to condition the victims into thinking its just another dry run.
Resignation...
Drugged and tortured. I bet they have been some traumatized that they just want their ordeal to be over.
they may be drugged.
I couldn’t bring myself to watch them, but I noticed the same thing with the pictures. After reading through the replies it seems like continual mock executions make the most sense, the f’in bastards.
Drugged, I suspect.
Out of a thousand takes, the head hackers only use the ones that make them look their best.
I am just happy that I am not the person kneeling in the sand, and if a threat of that extent ever existed in my family, I hope that we all have our 1911’s fully loaded and at the ready in our hands.
I think they’ve been in that position many times when they were not beheaded and then one day it happens.
I’m sure that, off-camera, there are a dozen or more rifles aimed at them. I’m sure, too, that if one of these human sacrifices to Satan said something aloud in praise of Jesus Christ, it would be edited out. Or they have just been completely broken.
One of the people who was let go said they went through everything except slitting your throat many times and if you didn’t do exactly what they wanted they beat the beck out of you and did it again. It’s resignation. They could also be drugged with something to reduce you anxiety and will power while still leaving you able to speak.
We have to fight fire with fire. I think it would be great to see some wealthy people or coalitions off a bounty on their leaders.
It must be something in human nature that compels people to just except their fate, only very few fight back. An example from 18th century American history is the gauntlet of the American Indian, in the east of course. White captives were forced to run the gauntlet and were beaten to death. Most captives just meekley entered the howling mob and turtled until dead. However one guy, John Stark, a member of Rogers Rangers, and later victorious general at the battle of Bennington, did what most did not, he fought back. When he entered the gauntlet he picked out the first Indian in line and just layed him out with a punch to the chops. Then he kicked the crap out of the next guy in the gauntlet’s line. The Indian’s were so impressed that they stopped the proceedings and surrounded Stark like he just won the Super Bowl.
