DALLAS, Texas -- Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins shocked the local press corps Thursday night when he and two female workers entered the apartment where Americas first Ebola patient was staying. He entered without any visible protection from possible exposure to the deadly virus.
Judge Jenkins entered the apartment to speak with the occupants who are now being held inside their home under a protection order requiring their compliance. He and two unknown women entered and were not visibly wearing gloves or any kind of mask or other form of protection from the virus.
Members of the local media expressed shock seeing the County Judge enter the apartment without protection. What the hell is he doing going in there like that? asked one television camera operator.
Jenkins and the two women emerged from the apartment after about 10 minutes. The apartment has yet to be decontaminated by hazmat crews that are currently awaiting government approval before cleaning can begin.
Jenkins came down from the apartment and met with law enforcement and security guards. It appeared he was making sure he was in a clear area where the news cameras could see him. After about two minutes, the judge and his entourage turned and walked away. A couple of reporters shouted Judge, what are you doing here? What did you talk to her about? Jenkins did not acknowledge the questions and walked away after getting a good photo op.
Jenkins has a history of ducking question from the media.
He apparently did not want to answer questions about the announcement he made during the convention that he was seeking to have the children who had entered the U.S. illegally housed in the Dallas area.

As the chief-elected official of the county, Judge Jenkins is also responsible for the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Department that provides around the clock staff to protect Dallas County citizens through coordinated security and emergency-management resources with regional and national partners.

{insert punchline involving Ruth Bader Ginsberg here}
He’s the a-hole judge who let Obama house the illegal kids all over North Texas, IIRC?
He’s like a tiny Titanic intentionally ramming an iceberg.
I saw him on TV. He a professed democrat and liberal.
FIFY
This is the same Democrat judge with a messiah complex who single handedly allowed two thousand illegal alien children to come to Dallas this summer. He is totally lacking in common sense.
Yes, but what about all the little people he is contaminating even as read.
Plus he exposed his two female clerks to possible Ebola infection. How nice of him to show how big he is that he will visit the Ebola patients right in their homes without protection.
My head is spinning around. Unbelievable!!! That boob should be put in armed quarantine along with the 2 stupid women who went in there with him.
I’m sorry to say this and probably they won’t contract the virus, but if they do it MIGHT just be a valuable lesson to stop screwing around with the treatment of this virus.
If he and the two women are not immediately put under quarantine for three weeks, something is wrong beyond words.
How could any law officer allow this?
Also, do the judges actions not indicate suicidal (and homicidal, bringing others along) behavior?
WTH???
Judicious? You decide.
Thank you stole the pic. and going to have a few 1000 bumper stickers made up by next week.
Can’t you be arrested and forceably quarantined for breaking quarantine, Rick Perry do your job! He should be arrested by men in haz mat suits and quarantined in his home.
Liberal genius to the rescue. They have NO COMMON SENSE.
