So? Scabies is very common. All the hippie children had it in California when I lived there...somebody needs to bathe more often!
Just Horeseshit.
I know they dont teach much real history or anything that is not politically convenient in our screwls these days so Ill excuse some ignorance.
Do you kiddies know one of the many reasons why immigrants were so reviled / feared near the turn of the century in the great migration from Europe and why they were quarantined at Ellis Island and other points of entry? Disease. Disease people living here did not have and disease people living here had little or no resistance to.
Obamas kiddies and illegals bring the same types of disease here across our porous border every single day. They do not belong here and they do not belong with the general population.
This was ‘Breaking News’ on Red Hampshire media a few minutes ago...hey...you have to fill up 90 minutes of news in this area somehow...LOL! JUST IN: bear cub climbs a tree on a local college campus...OMG!
I caught scabies from my dog, he was an outside dog and he chased and caught possums regularly. I took him to the vet for something else. i didn’t know what scabies was until I heard that one of the vet techs caught it from my dog. I had already gotten rid of mine by washing it with alcohol several times a day. That is some itchy stuff!
So if a person with scabies gets Ebola, does the scabies puke and crap and all that? Enquiring minds wish to know.
Is this really “news”? I guess in terms of folks who get it from the hospital it makes gut be. But that’s a pretty top notch facility.
The found scabies on the Central Americans coming across during the summer invasion.
Scabies isn’t a big deal. I use to work in a jail and we had to go through the inmates stuff> somehow (by doing this) once I picked up scabies. Did what the doctor prescribed and it went away. Much like lice.
I was volunteering for an elderly gentleman who got the scabies on a beach vacation with his family in Cape Cod.
I ended up with them but he had such a bad case and none of his nurses knew what was wrong with him. I finally called his daughter who is a nurse in NH and asked her to come to her stepdad’s apartment in MA to help him. She did and pronounced scabies. Then she had to call me to come over and she found them on me. Yuck!
Scabies is a mite that burrows UNDER the skin and lives there. Hence bathing or scrubbing the skin with alcohol does not work to get rid of them once they are entrenched. The treatment is a prescription cream that must be rubbed over the entire body (not just the itchy area). The cream literally paralyses the mite and it suffocates to death.
Scabies is rife in nursing homes. Unfortunately, most people think that bathing will get rid of them. Bathing and scrubbing don’t work because they only clean the surface of the skin, not underneath.
The mite that gives dogs mange is a similar species.
