Per CDC yesterday, the period of being contagious can be between 2 day and 3 weeks.
Some say it cannot be transmitted unless/until the patient shows symptons. Others seem to disagree. Their symptoms can be mild as cold-like or flu-like. They may even appear to get better and then get worse.
CNN is currently reporting that up to 20 people have been exposed to patient (Dallas Patient Zero).
