A teenage girl in Wyoming learned a harsh lesson on why you shouldn't play hooky.
Jeannie Crutchfield did the unthinkable when she got word of her daughter ditching class: She followed her through her school with a camera in hand, recording her every move to make sure she attended class - and then posted the video to Facebook.
"It was kind of just spur of moment. It was yeah know. I debated whether I was going to do it or not and I was like I'm just going to do it," Crutchfield told ABC affiliate KTWO.
Crutchfield says she wanted to send her 14-year-old daughter a bold message that truancy will not be tolerated.
"You thought it was cute to ditch with your friends. Now lets see how cute you think is sit with mom during class," Crutchfield told her daughter.

how long before Mom is charged with illegal recording and sent to jail?
My wife threatened that once. Very effective. That’s about the worst thing a 14 year old can imagine.
This sounds like an old episode of “One Day At A Time” with Bonnie Franklin. The Mom should NOT have breeched her daughter’s trust that way. Eventually, this girl will get even; Big Time!
I told my daughter that I would go to school with her one day if she didn’t start telling me what was going on at school during dinner. She called my bluff and after a day of classes with me by her side, she would volunteer information.
I must confess that I was dozing off in her biology class though.
Or Uncle Buck threatening the teenager with picking walking her to class in his bathrobe.
Ever hear of a tune-up?
Ha ha ha ha. Ever hear of a ritual killing?
When a parent can be jailed because their bad kid is a truant I say this is a good idea. It shows the parent is involved.
I am getting a little tired of parents thinking that all of their clever punishments deserve to be shared with the world.
Whatever happened to detention and grounding for cutting class.
And clearly, the kid is not smart. She got caught. Cutting class was so easy that you had to be part retard to get caught. And yes, I used the R word.
