I take my oldest socks and underwear that are ready for disposal and leave them behind. My old underwear is strewn across 5 continents.

I typically pack at the last minute so I often paraphrase Mark Twain with “I didn’t have time to pack a small bag so I packed a larger one.”

Reminds me

We were on honeymoon in St. Martin. Mt a guy who’s wife had died and he was traveling around the world. His wife died and he was taking some of the insurance money and getting away. His boys told him they would run his business.

He bought new clothes at each stop and send the dirty clothes home.

I hope the boys washed everything and they didn’t pile up.

My wife went on a shopping spree in Milan and Florence. I finally convinced her to ship a lot of stuff home. Got there two weeks after we got home.
