Ebola clinics fill up as death toll hits 3,000: CDC issues dire predictions on Ebola: Doctors are in short supply and countries are scrambling to find more resources for the Ebola outbreak, as the death toll from the virus hit 3,000. According to a Wall Street Journal report Sunday, the World Health Organization said 3,091 people have died of confirmed, suspected or probable cases of Ebola. Even as countries try to marshal more resources, those needs threaten to become much greater, and possibly even insurmountable. "The situation on the ground is just disastrous," said Dr. Heinz Feldmann, chief of virology at the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, who recently returned from Liberia.
"The idea of having hundreds of people in tent structures for Ebola management is unbelievable but the way this is spreading, we need to find a solution now."

At this moment, we are seeing the worst outbreak of ebolavirus in known history, affecting several states of the continent of Africa--possibly even more, with projections by the CDC estimated at roughly 1.3 million cases by end-January 2015 (or deaths?).
Looking at this in a purely biological standpoint, not one of dangerous military applications: when there is an outbreak of any infectious disease, the environment of the area of incidence is closely examined: air, water, soil, plants, insects, fish (and sea mammals), and domestic and wild animals and creatures. What I find is that the media is wholly in part not examining and reporting on, is what exactly are the populations of these affected African areas consuming as food. It is called "bush meat", which is the flesh and other bodily organs of namely bats and monkeys. Understanding, that the basically millions of people living in many areas of Africa live in extremely squalid conditions and abject poverty--which is a definite contributing factor in infectious disease spread, the spearheading factor could very well be that their consumption of bush meat because they have little else to eat causes both the initial infection and initial spread of ebolavirus and its now probable several mutations. And, of course, once one individual presents with the fever, vomiting, and diarrhea, progressing to the bleeding out and death, the rapid spread of that particular strain hits.
Specifically, there are only these ways to stop the spread of any strain of Ebola:
1.) Education--specifically about their consumption of bush meat, to inspire enough fear into the populace-- aside from that they are already experiencing with witnessing thousands dying of ebolavirus, to cause them to halt all hunting and ingestion of bush meat. To further render this action, all countries engaged in battling the outbreak will provide adequate food. [Note: the populaces are killing aid workers, so this many not even be efforted.]
2.) Treatment and vaccine initiative: It has already been estimated that even though a possible treatment works, it will not be ready for mass distribution in adequate supplies for more than five months, and a vaccine is not going to be available to any general populace for years (available meaning, only certain individuals will qualify to receive it). That being said, we cannot realistically lean on such premise as a definite factor in containment.
3.) Seal all known affected African states borders; no air, sea or land travel, period.
4.) Because the unbelievably millions of Africans within the areas of the ebolavirus outbreaks are very likely either freshly infected (21-day incubation) or dying of this pestilence, the populations will have to be completely wiped out. This is an indeed horrific stance, and I believe the Lord God in His ultimate compassion would not see this as the right action and prevent it--but to keep the entire continent of Africa and indeed the entire world from being infected, this is very likely on the minds of the world's military at this very moment. Intense heat, via the use of either a limited-yield tactical nuclear weapon, or other ordinance that would provide enough heat to completely burn up the affected areas.
5.) A world-wide day of grief, and indeed many more days to come, for the millions lost in the ultimate attack on ebolavirus.
6.) Intense monitoring of the targeted areas (aftermath). Unfortunately--sounding as if I am promoting a world-government system--monitoring of the world's populace to immediately deal with anyone showing physical and tests/bloodwork signs of ebolavirus infection. By then, there will be adequate supplies of treatment and there will already be efforts on the part of the governing bodies of the world to vaccinate their populaces.
7.) Lord God, forgive our nations should they choose to implement Item 4. Protect us, and help us to save all these millions of people with a treatment and cure, as I truly believe it is Your will.
Yeah, I bet doctors are in short supply considering they might get their throats slit for their trouble if they go over there.
having sex with a neighbour is not a cure
Close Africa.
Two words. Easy.
Not all doctors are upset. Dr Holdren, His Arrogance’s science adviser, is ecstatic. He’s got at little chart running on his i-Phone that displays little dead black people falling into graves with the count 6.5 billion - 1, 6.5 billion -2, etc. updated realtime as the race continues to get rid of the unnecessary excess population.
Yes, and also not very factual. The evidence suggests that millions are not freshly infected. If you believe that is the case, then I will put $50 on the opposite. You can send me the $50 in 21 days and I will donate it to some worthwhile charity fighting the epidemic.
Dr. Holdren is ecstatic. Billy Ayers is orgasmatic.
True, but he’s hardly one of the doctors who would be expected to go over there and get his throat slit.
Less than 300 doctors in Liberia. And that info is two weeks old.
I’m surprised to hear that there’s that many, in just one country.
Nuke them from orbit it the only way
The keyan currently infesting the white hut would rather have millions of Americans die than to isolate his bros in Africa.
What an astonishingly evil proposition.
Its a lot higher than 3000 though.
Many on FR have proposed exactly the same thing.
Let's not remind people what the mutation was that caused such total decontamination of that facility. Nice how they leave that info out.
good start is not putting known infected on planes to other countries.
It was Hazleton Laboratories in Reston, Virginia, not the U.S. Army who had the outbreak. The Army got involved to end it.
