It was a pun - “dwarfist” vs “dwarf fist,” which was being used quite effectively in the comic.
I knew it was a stretch.
I’m going to have to tear myself away from my Tanya Huff novels and get more comix.
So far, her stories have included a 450 year old vampire who still looks 17, a family of
werewolves, a 5,000 year old mummy with ties to Osiris, and a rather friendly ghost.
And those were just the Vickie Nelson stories.
I’m reading the first volume of a trilogy about guardians of normalcy who protect the
world from Hell and its demons. The story also has a ghost and a vampire rock singer.
Huff is alternately serious and humorous, and she can sure turn a tale.
I did catch that, and it wasn’t that much of a stretch.
