Lagos President Goodluck Jonathan told the 69th Session of the United Nations General Assembly his administration had rid the country of the deadly Ebola virus.

That's what I am thinking, too. Push it underground as long as possible, until it can't be ignored. I am reminded of the govt. response to the Venezuelan doc who said, regarding the recent deaths from a mystery illness, that there may be some very dangerous contagion at work.
The govt. response? Call the doc a "terrorist" for trying to destabilize civil society, and threaten to arrest him.
