My sister-in-law adopted two greyhounds. They were both very loving pets. About the only issue was that they had to be taught how to go up and down stairs.

We had that with a Rottweiler.. took about two weeks! After that, it was about a three-bound trip up the stairs.

I had an Irish Setter many years ago that could never master the steps. Beautiful gal...just dumb as a box of rocks.

The only thing I really know about greyhounds is that they are supposed to be hypersensitive and are completely crushed if you scold them. This comes from two friends that rescue greyhounds.

That being said..I had a husky/wolf hybrid that couldn’t stand to be scolded. He would hit the floor like I had shot him, lol. (I didn’t scold him much. It hurt me more than it did him.)
