Jesse Matthew, Suspect in Hannah Graham’s Abduction, in Custody

Jesse Matthew, the man wanted by police for allegedly abducting University of Virginia student Hannah Graham, is in police custody, News4's Julie Carey reports.

According to NBC29's Henry Graff, Matthew was arrested outside of Virginia and will be extradited to the Commonwealth at a later time.

I just went through what is publicly viewable on Hannah’s Facebook page, and there is zero indication there that she even hangs out with any black people. That is not to say she wouldn’t if intoxicated. She looks like a good girl.

I did a quick search. Harrington attend Virginia Tech and died in 2009. This guy was reported to have worked at the Univ. of VA Medical Center starting in 2012.

Scarily.. he was a taxi driver at the time. If she was looking for a ride home.. she could have stepped right into this guys cab..

My neice and her hubby attended Liberty during those years. Need to ask if they remembered him.

He was on the football team there. He was kicked out after allegations of rape. This guy has a history for sure..

Harrington went to use the restroom at the arena and somehow wound up outside the gates where she was refused re-entry (I hope that employee sleeps well at night). She texted her friends her dilemma and that she would find her own way home. It was October and cold outside so I'd guess a taxi cab was the first number she called.
