Don Manoukian, the original Oakland Raider who turned to pro wrestling, died Tuesday in Reno, Nevada at age 80.

Also, I don’t remember him using the Don The Bruiser moniker. When I saw him wrestle on tv he was just Don Manoukian.
My Babcia (grandma in English) used to love Dick the Bruiser and the Crusher. Sundays, if you were over visiting, you had to watch Bob Luce wrestling on channel 44, she would go nuts.
For us ... it was Killer Kawalski
you’re grandma was in Chicago? I watched it on Ch 44 too. Ben’s Auto commercials ran on Luce’s Wrestling show.
