Former Alaska Gov and GOP VP nominee Sarah Palin will campaign with vulnerable establishment Republican Senator Pat Roberts of Kansas as a "special guest" at an Independence, Kansas event on Thursday.

More than one month left in this race, it seems like a number of establishment Republicans are also going to bat for him.
Palin being a good soldier here, understanding the necessity of removing Harry Reid as Majority Leader. This Senate election, all of them, is really about Reid and Obama - even though pathetic GOP candidates and consultants don’t get it.
Palin does. She doesn’t like Roberts. It isn’t about Roberts. It’s about bigger picture stuff.
Establishment RINOs 2013. Get out of the way Tea Party. We got this one.
Establishment RINOs now: Helpz us!!!
Lol.
Hear! Hear!
Jeb Bush gonna be in Wichita on Sept. 29 to campaign for Roberts. Bob Dole
and John McCain are also going to be campaigning this week with Roberts.

Yeh right. TP’ers were instrumental in helping RINO’s to victory in 2010 but they showed appreciation by dumping on them since. Fact is since we can’t dump them in the primaries we’re kinda stuck with them in the general election.
Sarah is always focused on the BIG picture.
Another term of Dingy Reid as Senate Majority leader would completely do us in.
Think about, folks.....SCOTUS nominations....just one reason to oust Dingy.
Republicans have a 56.6% chance of winning a majority.
(from your link, 9/22)
The model shows that 10 races could go either way. Turnout and enthusiasm will probably make the difference in all of those races. The Democrats are mostly indifferent, they would rather go have a latte than go to the polls. The Republicans and Conservatives are actively advocating for Republican defeats in several of these races, including Kansas. Odd that Harry Reid’s fate rests on the shoulders of his enemies and they are helping him to keep his job.
The governor’s race is equally important. Brownback’s doing a great job, and he needs a second term. The Dem candidate has real problems..and the top of the ticket can help Roberts win..
Another profoundly poor choice. Palin is wasting her good name for RINOs. Shes helping the enemies of this country.
I trust Sarah Palin alot more than any other political figure. If she thinks this is the right thing to do I’ll support her.
Its her move, but I’ve heard Ted Cruz praising Roberts when he filibustered all night on the Senate floor and I would expect Ted to show up, too.
I still think we a new party, not one led by Mitch McConnell in the Senate and John Boehner in the House and their ilk which comprise the 95 percent of elected Republicans who either repudiate conservatism or pretend to be conservatives.
When, in the modern era, have Republicans ever successfully blocked a nomination to the SC by a DemoncRAT president?
Nonsense.
The worst enemy of the country is Reid and Obama.
Haven't you realized that yet?
Pat Roberts? Enemy of the country? Seriously?
OK, so he’s become a native Washingtonian, and that’s distasteful. And yes, it’s too easy to get a high score from the ACU. But he has a career A+ from NumbersUSA, which doesn’t mind giving Republican leaders like Cochran, McCain, etc., Cs Ds and Fs for betraying America. He has 100% from Eagle Forum, 93% from the NRA, but also 90% from Gunowners of America (the very conservative alternative to the NRA), 100% from National Right to Life, 0% from ACLU.
I think there’s a better chance of blocking the nomination with a Pubbie majority, than with a Dim majority. Not much of chance (if Midge/GOPe is the Maj Leader), for sure, but at least a chance.
Brownback does deserve another four years, BUT - it’s NOT equally important as the Senate - not in this cycle. In some cycles, maybe, but not this one.
Also, helping Roberts will help Brownback too by association.
Governor Brownback can appoint a conservative replacement for Roberts, when Roberts resigns for health reasons AFTER the election (ASAP?)
