Stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Evangeline Lilly to come out for People's Climate March in New York
A-list actors, including DiCaprio, Lilly and Mark Ruffalo, are set to walk in the massive People’s Climate March this Sunday in Manhattan, which is expected to be the largest march for climate action in history. Lilly told the Daily News she was marching for 'my child, my family, and for everyone who has the great privilege of living on this beautiful planet of ours.'
The stars are coming out in a bid to save the planet.
A-list actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo, along with “Lost” actress Evangeline Lilly, are set to walk in the massive People’s Climate March this Sunday in Midtown, an event billed as the largest march for climate action in history.
Lilly told the Daily News she was marching in a show of solidarity for the cause.
“I’m lending my support to the People's Climate March because I believe that together change can happen. Climate change is one of the most important issues facing us today and world leaders need to hear our voices and act accordingly,” said the Canadian actress, best known for playing Kate Austen on ABC’s wildly popular TV show about survivors of a plane crash on a mysterious tropical island somewhere in the South Pacific Ocean.

The 'weathermen' here in Red Hampshire were sounding the alarm about the COLDEST air of the season encroaching upon us the other night...frost advisory, freeze warnings, end of the gardening season alert. So my wife and I head out to the tomato patch to pick ANYTHING that has blushed...green ones were left to their doom.
Got up the next morning? No frost, no ice, no nothing. They can't get the forecast for the next NINE HOURS right...and I am supposed to buy Gore's bullsh*t???
LOL! That’s exactly what it is, they come up with these names because they sound commie. Actually I’m surprised they didn’t call it “The workers climate march” but then I guess they realized actors don’t do any kind of real work, especially punks like DiCrapio who’s never held a 9-5 in his entire life, so they changed it to “The peoples climate march”.
Professional entertainers and athletes are far too often mistaken for people of significance.

I’m in Maine, so I know what you mean about the cold. I went out running errands this morning, and I damn near froze off my manly parts.
It’s hard to believe, but just two Saturdays ago here in Maine, it was hot and steamy, even along the coast, with temperatures close to ninety degrees and stifling humidity.
Temperatures were forecast to be in the mid-70’s this weekend, but they called it wrong (again).
Hope they won’t be spewing that evil CO2 to get to this protest.

You're right...here in Red Hampshire; it hit 89 degrees on both the fifth and sixth of this month, and the humidity was nasty.
They probably have a couple hundred million between them. They could do more by writing a check than leading a march. Oh yeah, they probably get paid for marching.
It isn’t changing the climate when a liberal does it.
The only way they can save the planet is to march against liberalism.
It’s a “People’s March...” like “People’s Democratic republics ...”.
We know where they’re coming from.
