I'll give ya 200 Bucks for the lot.

I'm gonna have to pay someone to separate the items, they're going to take up a lot of room in the store, and it will probably take a year or two to sell it all. That's a long time to keep my money tied up, and you'll walk out of here with the $200.

Hank’s boots and the telecaster might be worth something. The other stuff, not so much, IMHO.

Guernsey's will be auctioning a portion of Waylon Jenning's estate in order to benefit the Phoenix Children's Hospital in Arizona on October 5th.

A nice gesture by Jessi, IMO. I wonder if that black crayon drawing of Johnny Cash was done by the same "William Nelson" that contributed the braids... if so, it would definitely be a cool triple-play piece of memorabilia.

Of all the C&W I paid attention to back in the day, Waylon's music rates high among that which I still regularly listen to and enjoy; the whole "outlaw" schtick aside, I appreciated some of the curve balls he was willing to throw and the really neat bit placed here and there (like the assertive, almost rockin' mandolin on "Never Could Toe the Mark").

Very cool! I had heard about the Ariel motorcycle auction, but not the other items, nor the fact that this will benefit a children’s hospital.

Side note: Today is Hank Senior’s birthday. I know, because he and I share the same birthday. He was born in 1923.
