TV evangelist Jim Bakker says don't fret, he's got everything you need to survive any disaster. His survival kits include everything from padded clothing to buckets of beans to enemas.
The disgraced pastor, who served 5 years for fraud/conspiracy, has a daily TV broadcast promoting his Morningside Church a Christian retreat and retirement community set on 600 acres of land near Branson, MO.
Of course, Bakker doesn't technically own Morningside. He still owes the IRS more than $6 million in taxes he neglected to pay in the 1980s.

Exactly. Well said. There is a choice. You can do it the easy way and join the feast above before the very end comes on earth or you can come to the party late and endure on earth until your time comes. In both cases, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Of course, there is the really sad third option: You never get it and face eternal damnation. Such as the Islamic terrorists and just Islamic believers face.
After 911, I used to pray that I'd be standing right there so I could see those terrorists get thrown into the fiery pit. But I have rejected that as being just too sad a circumstance in a place where sadness won't exist.

I suggest you do some serious study of the Book of Revelation. Many things John saw could only be possible today because of computers. You also have to read the Book of Daniel - which corresponds with Revelation - especially the man of perdition - or as some call him, the anti-Christ. Jesus himself said that no man knows the hour of his return - not even He - but his Father in heaven - we are to watch the signs of the times. Many of the things he predicted could not have been possible in 60-90 AD.
It was Nikita Khrushchev who said in 1960 during one of his rocket-rattling rants that in the event of global thermonuclear war that “the survivors will envy the dead”.
“We will bury you” and “Your grandchildren will grow up under communism” were Comrade K.’s other best known quotes.
Anyway, do believers in the End Times (and I’m one) really need overpriced survival food? If one is raptured to be with the Lord, who needs beans? That’s for those who will be left behind, IMO.
I’ve done serious study. Have a number of books.
Put it this way...I’ve believed both ways and am just more comfortable with what I think now. It won’t keep me out of heaven because I still believe in one God and His Son who is Christ and that no man can come to God except through Jesus.
I have my reasons, but either way if I’m wrong God knows I’ll readily accept it when the time comes.
If your plan is rapture-dependent, you will not need a whole lot of food in the pantry.
I believe in insurance. Even though I do not plan on have my car wrecked.
Learned his lesson? He’s making money. He’s a salesman, and he’s making money. If he’s learned anything, it’s perhaps to keep proper books, and his thingee in his pants.
And I bet he’ll make more money than I made last year too.
Bless his heart <;-)
He looks like Dana Carvey playing Garth in wayne’s world, exc with no hair.
This is WAYYYYY old news guys.
Jim has been out of prison for DECADES and has been selling this crap for at LEAST a decade now.
I worked in Branson back in ‘05-’06. His “Show” was across the street where I lived and he was selling this stuff on his daily t.v. show.
Hey, if folks are dumb enough to fall for it - ...fool me twice... Shame on THEM.
Does it include a helmet in case the Rapture happens when I am driving?
As a Catholic, I do not believe in the Rapture, and accept that good people may suffer with bad. Christ chose suffering, and if we can unite our suffering with his patiently all the better. There is nothing wrong with preparation as a general concept, but if your life is centered around it, the priorities might be skewed. In the meantime, I have a family to raise.
