I have met classical musicians / piano players who have insured their hands for millions - but the insurance company also stipulates they dont engage in activities that involve things like table-saws, meat slicers, chain saws, presses, etc...
Am surprised a professional golfer wouldnt have the same....
I heard of this one fellow, a hand model by profession, who burned his hands on a hot clothes iron. No insurance. Had to live with his parents. Now all the hand models carry big policies.

Played in the Briish Open a few years back and has played more recently in Champions events. Still in great shape just doesn’t dedicate the time required to be very good at it. That all said I hold him being freinds woth CLinton against him.

Bill Clinton tore a tendon in his knee while drinking and whoring with Greg Norman many years ago.

The Norman/Clinton connection was something I never understood. Norman is what some people would refer to as a man's man(this accident is an example). He enjoys doing a lot of the hard work on his Colorado ranch where he drives heavy equipment to build and maintain roads, has a complete carpentry and fabrication shop and 'grand scale' firing range where he shoots everything from pistols to sniper rifles and light artillery with targets as far as 1/2 mile away.
Clinton who never picked up a piece of machinery heavier than a vibrator or a blender hanging out with Norman doesn't seem right unless it was all about chasing women.

A couple of photos at his website... Shark.com

Norman elected to undergo surgery while in the hospital to repair some minor nerve
damage. According to the specialists who tended to Norman, he will not sustain any
long-term, permanent damage to his left arm.
Following the surgery, Norman returned home to rest and recover. Both Norman and
the doctors expect him to have a full, speedy recovery and to be able to return back
to playing golf and attacking life shortly.

That's an interesting quote. He does "attack life". I have to give him that.

You are so right. The only tool someone of Normans wealth should use is the telephone.

I once had a student who was taking out a tree with his dad. Dad dropped a chainsaw on son’s thigh, taking out a huge chunk of the son’s leg. Son’s girlfriend brought me pictures from the ER before they patched him up, when she came to explain why he wasn’t in class and to pick up his assignments. Lots of pictures, because she “wanted to make sure I believed he really was injured.” Trust me, after seeing the first one, I knew he was injured.

The rumor that I had always heard was that Norman and BJ were plastered the night BJ broke his leg and that Norman drinks like that a lot. I guess he needs something to take his mind off the back nine on Sunday at the 1996 Masters.
