It was only a flesh wound.
They’ll need to retitle the episode from “Dr. Who meets the Moslems” to something less scary.
What about the British soldiers that was beheaded by a Muslim — in London!
Dr. Who’s writers forgot about that?
Yes, some dude lost his head during the fight
Wasn’t a big deal or anything
Considering the fact that the episode was about robots, I’m not sure I understand the point. (It aired Saturday)
I still want to see him race Monty Python’s ship, the Retardis.
It was a metal robot and its head popped off when it was shot.
Dr Who is in the future. For accuracy (because there will be no moozlums in the future) they removed the scene.
Great. Lets make sure that no ones feelings are hurt because the association may offend muslims and negatively impact the multiculti dream.
The world needs to see things like this because they compartmentalize it otherwise. they need to see brutal reality and even fictionalized depictions of that reality because by avoiding them for 30 years so as to nut upset the feelings brigade, we have come to believe such things are no longer real.
Thus out current ROEs in what passes for war...war where no one is supposed to die...and beliefs in ‘peace’ with muslims through words.
Dont want to bring attention to Islamic beheadings after all.
I heard the BBC aired some years ago a show in which Crusader terrorists beheaded a poor Muslim who could not talk them out of their bloodlust. How totally realistic. These people, and the material they produce, are detritus.
Gimme a second and I’ll post one of my all time favorite portraits from by Henri Regnault:
“Summary Execution under the Moorish Kings of Grenada”.
To make up for it, SyFy is running Spartacus, and there are plenty of beheadings in that series.
Will Showtime have to rewrite “The Tudors”?
