Redskins lose Robert Griffin III, DeSean Jackson to injuries
LANDOVER, Md. — Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III left Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a left ankle injury and was later ruled out for the remainder of the game. His replacement, Kirk Cousins, threw a 20-yard touchdown pass two plays later.
Griffin was hurt on a play in which he scrambled toward the sideline and managed to complete a 19-yard pass to wide receiver DeSean Jackson to the Jaguars 20-yard line. Griffin landed awkwardly as he went out of bounds
