“Most of them calling our outright thieves too.”
Lots of “spoofed” numbers too. If you call them back, you get a message that the number is not in service.
It is possible to track them down to an actually number. You have to play along with the pitch, act interested, make a commitment to purchase. At some point along the way they have to give you legit contact info.
Takes a couple-a-few calls. Then when you have their number you call them incessantly while listening to them threaten to report you to the police or whoever.
Take a lot of time and not worth it. I now just don’t answer.
Some how some calls show up out of area with the area code missing and the pre-fix will be a local number. Or it will give a local name and number no area code. The telemarketers use names you are likely to anser like a health care facility or an air evac medical service etc. Most telemarketers as of late or rude jerks who hang up when you try to say please take me off your call list. Look for another call pushing same crap within an hour different area code.
